DIY Dining Chair Seat Cushions

My apartment is a one-bedroom but I used the dining area as a home office. This leaves the side of the living room as my dining area. I have an antique drop-leaf table from my parents’ house against the wall and have been looking for ages for the right chairs. I wanted four wooden, folding chairs for the sheer convenience (similar to the drop-leaf table) of being able to put it away or take them out. DIY: Revamped Wicker Bench Seat

Wicker Bench Seat - Before

In February I visited a neat secondhand store called FilmGo, located in Vancouver on the edge of Burnaby. This undiscovered thrift store is full of props, furniture and knick-knacks from various film sets which means awesome vintage and era pieces. It also means that you can find some neat gems for a good price — if you’re willing to look. I left with a $10 fishbowl and a $60 wicker bench seat. Crafty Mojo Returns

New pillows on the couch

On Sunday I went to a different fabric store to look at the selection of blue-patterned fabric. Last time I went to Dressew because it’s right by my work, and I liked the fabric I selected but I didn’t love it. So I went to Fabricland on Sunday morning and found a gorgeous blue fabric with flowerpots and swirls. I did want a more ‘damask‘ look… the first fabric was more paisley-ish… and this is more floral.
