Michelle and Lesley are hosting a Hot Cocoa Swap to beat the winter blahs. They’re having a “YELL IT OUT” contest to promote the swap. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to participate this round as I’m hosting the UK Swap in the same time frame. But I’ll totally send some buttons their way!

The swap is for Mid-December to February. Signups are December 16th to 31st (or 100th swapper). The contest is from Dec. 1 – 15th.

To get in on the contest, post about the Hot Cocoa Swap on your own blog. You get additional entries for each person who tells them that YOU sent them there (psst… I’m Monica @ monnibo.wordpress.com in case you forgot).

We heard on the news about the “Lighting Up” being broadcasted on the tellie November 20th. This is where they broadcasted lighting the Christmas lights in London.

From last year in Manchester (but they are back up this year). I like how these are non-denominational.

New Santa this year in Manchester. I’m guessing their inflatable one was bursting too often. Grandma RW told me that they had to send it to Germany to get fixed or something because of the material. Reminded me of BC Place when the dome burst and they had to get it fixed.

Good News!!

Passport Canada received my renewal application (finally)!!! They said I can expect it next week. It will be delivered to my parent’s house in Vancouver.

BIG load off my shoulders with that! I exist again!!
