
I have taken so long to write a review for Room by Emma Donoghue because I don’t really know what to say other than “love love love love it!” I’m still having difficulties expressing what I liked so much about this book. It’s powerful, it’s honest, it’s raw, and yet it’s very endearing. Parts of it are like a scary movie: you can’t not watch. To five-year-old Jack, Room is the entire world.
