Today, March 8, 2011 is the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. I could easily spend hours listing female authors, friends and family, as well as artists and contributors who shaped the woman I’ve become. But instead, to honour the day, I’d like to highlight some of my favourite female protagonists in novels.
