Some of you may know that I have been away for the last month travelling. I visited Israel for two weeks, Jordan for a day, and Turkey for another two weeks. Here are some photos to tide ya’ll over until I finish sorting through them (4,000+) and uploading to Flickr.
My sister was in Moncton, NB, this summer for the Explore program. She also did some travelling and spotted this tree in Halifax. She emailed it to me and I’m (finally) posting it. Bonnie wrote in the email, “This was just on a random tree in a park across the street from a church and a bank. No big deal. =D” It looks like there’s a tag hanging off it, but I don’t think she checked. I love how the patchwork on this tag has borders on the top and bottom to unify it. Very awesome!
I know I haven’t posted much on the blog lately, but I’ve been quite the traveller with limited internet access. I’ve seen lots of England, which was my original intention: Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Leeds, and tomorrow the destination is York. Here are a few photos as I don’t have time to relate all my travels yet. That will have to satisfy for now. My flight home is on Wednesday and I’m planning to spend as much time as possible with my boyfriend until then. Cheerio!
