P is for… Punk Rock Woo! Punk Rock Music is my fave! A painting I did in art class in high school — the cover of Rancid’s Indestructible. That’s more like it! (P.S. — it’s alphabetical!) I’m on the far right… little rebel! My sister is in the middle, and my cousin is on the left. Ignore the big crease down the middle, I think my mom folded it because it wasn’t a very “good” photograph. I think it’s hilarious!
When I saw the new Apple iPod Nanos, I wanted them so badly! The blue one is absolutely gorgeous and finally more than 8GB — they’re all available in 16GB. Then I watched the new demo video and was introduced to the new iPod Genius. You can ask for similar/recommended songs while you’re listening to your iPod. Mewants mewants… Luckily, iTunes updated with the same feature (they even suggest songs you don’t have yet… wanting you to purchase them from the iTunes store). I’m still tempted by the gorgeous 16GB blue nano, my only problem is the nano doesn’t feel very substantial in my hand and I’m scared I’ll drop it. Right now I do need to save my money, but it’s fun to dream!
I was originally exposed to Deirdre Flint on Cast-On: The Knitting Podcast by Brenda Daynes. Brenda has a great taste in music and she plays music from the Pod-Safe Music Network during Cast-on.
