This week is Buy Local Week in Vancouver, but there is no reason why we can’t buy local whenever possible. Hello Vancity has a great graphic on why buying locally helps communities.

As a crafter, I like supporting other local artisans when possible. Make It Vancouver, Circle Craft Christmas Market, and Christmas at Hycroft already happened in November, so here are some upcoming Vancouver-based events in December. A lot of them are this weekend and next, so be prepared to fair-hop (ala pub crawl style)!
