This year, over 270 artisans are participating in the 37th annual Circle Craft Christmas Market. Meet wood-turners, glassblowers, sculptors and potters, clothing and jewellery designers, toy-makers, and many more. As well, check out various craft demonstrations taking place in the Market — blacksmithing, pottery, wood turning, and glassblowing — for all to enjoy!
I’ll be there all this week (was there from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm yesterday) and I’ll be tweeting and blogging and Facebooking my eyes out.
It’s always great to wander around and I’m constantly finding myself passing by a booth and seeing something new. I will think, “I’ve been down this aisle twice already today, how did I not see this exhibitor before?” It’s an amazing feeling to be surrounded by handmade items, passionate craftspeople, and gorgeous wares. And just for the record, yes there are affordable items too.

Circle Craft is dedicated to progressive marketing of craft, active promotion of craft, and education of members and public. The members’ work covers the spectrum from cottage industry to one-of-a-kind artist/craftspeople. Circle Craft runs a Shop & Gallery year-round on Granville Island as well as putting on the annual Circle Craft Christmas Market.
