Things have been fairly routine around here, nothing too exciting, not too hectic either. I’ve been mostly working on the apartment (still haven’t painted the bathroom) and finishing up some school stuff. It’s quieting down at work though, so that’s kind of nice after the past few months. I’ll be AWOL this weekend as my BF arrives from England for the summer! We’re spending next week out at camp helping for school groups. So here is a little meme to tide my blogging buddies over with:

I’d scratch Ondaatje off my list. I read “The English Patient” my first year of College and it drove me insane. It also scared me away from reading anything else of his.

Interesting choice re the desert island question. I’d want to KNOW it’s a book I’d either be able to use, or would want to read again and again.

I’m in the middle of The Secret Life of Bees too! Wow, we seldom read the same books, let alone at the same time!
I got half way through The Time Travellers Wife before I had to return it to the library. I have it on hold there so I can finish it soon.
