Seuss at Pottery Barn
March 4th, 2009 by monnibo | Sharing
Yes yes I know that Pottery Barn is the epitome of corporate evil (according to Phoebe from Friends)… but I want the Dr. Seuss stuff from Pottery Barn Kids!! I wanna be a kid / have a kid and have a kid bedroom again!! Or just borrow someone’s baby. Is it horrible that I want everything associated with housing/dressing said child but I’m still not ready for a kid? hehe…

Ha I wanted all the fun of having the kids too… unfortunately it wasn’t always FUN. But I will never be sorry. Now my only advice… DON’T rush into it, definately buy the great stuff you see and STORE it somewhere. But WAIT on the kids. I wish I had followed my own advice. {{sigh}}

I think it is totally normal to want all the kid stuff and not the actual kid. :) I often want a nursery, but NO BABY! nononono. My baby is 13 so I just want the baby stuff and to borrow someone else’s! :) I decided that when I am a grandma (fun to think about at almost 35) I will totally have a kid room that I can decorate. We will see.
By the way, I love Pottery Barn. Even if it is evil. Whatever.

I have never been to a pottery barn and never been able to afford to do the cutie pie bedroom for any of my 4 children but I always dreamed of it.I have thought about maybe in a couple of years decorating one bedroom the girls can share as right now they are 2&4 and are in seperate rooms due to the fact that they sleep differently one likes her sleep the other doesn’t sleep much.I will now have to go look at this pottery barn as my curiosity is peaked;)(((Hugs))))Darcy
