How many F’s are there?

Count how many times the letter F occurs in the following sentence:

FROZEN FOODS ARE THE RESULT OF
YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY AND
THE DEVELOPMENT OF REFRIGERATION.

There are SEVEN occurrences of the letter F:

FROZEN FOODS ARE THE RESULT OF
YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY AND
THE DEVELOPMENT OF REFRIGERATION.

If you caught FOUR, you probably missed the three “of”s; if you got FIVE you probably got one of the “of”s but not all of them; if you caught SIX, perhaps you missed one of the F’s in the middle of a word like “scientific” or “refrigeration”. Neat huh?

    I got 7, but to be fair, I’ve seen this before so I was careful about the “of”s. :)

    I’m proud of myself – I got all 7!

    Like Jess, though, I have seen this before and did make sure to count the ‘of’s (though I did miss one and go back for it!).

    I got just 6. I missed the oF before scientific, but I did catch the one before refrigeration. Weird huh.
