I didn’t mind the rant, either. Trust me, there’s lots of times I feel resentful about having to do all this crap around the holidays. I miss the days of being a kid and having my parents be the ones in charge. lol

The only thing I was referring to with the “Wow…okay.” were the comments about Thanksgiving. It made me feel like a stupid or backwards American because we had our Thanksgiving in November instead of October.

As Chan and Aunt Kathy said, it’s your blog, you can rant if you want to. Lord knows, there are blogs out there that say a heck of a lot worse about us goofy Americans. ;-)

Righto, Aunt Kathy. You rant away when you care to…

Christmas is too commercial, but it’s so hard to unplug. I’ve made new friends in blog world, so I want to “think of them” during the holidays… ?? While I love the family thing, I also remember feeling like I had a full dance card the first holiday season I had my driver’s license. Divorced parents, best friend’s family, extended family, and I WANTED to hit them all, so I did, but I’m not sure I enjoyed any of it.
