Weezer was awesome!

Do you recall me going nutty when I got my tickets presale to Weezer? Well the concert was last night, and it was amazing!! They opened with My Name is Jonas, and closed with Buddy Holly. They even had winners from a 99.3 Fox contest up on stage helping them play a couple songs: Island in the Sun, and Beverly Hills. It was fantastic, there was a banjo, a violin, a xilophone!
I texted myself the setlist as they were playing, cause I’m a nerd like that! hehe. They also had polywhatever had their old bassist’s head cut out (before Scott Shiner)… so people could stick their head through for photos! I was a little short, but I did it anyway! Excuse the cell phone pics, I don’t bring my camera to concerts.

I’m glad you had a great time. Isn’t it satisfying when you get tickets to a band you love and then the concert just exceeds your expectations. When I saw tool for the first time during their Lateralus tour, I got the tickets on pre-sale, and had an out of this world experience. I don’t think any concert I’ve been to since has topped it.

How cool! I got to see Weezer back maybe in 2002 or 2003 at Red Rocks in Colorado. What a great band to see live!
