This weekend I decided to plan a little relaxing thing for CW and I to just spend time together on Saturday afternoon. So I cut up a platter of fruit on Friday and brought it out to Aldergrove. A few times I’ve driven past this cute pond area that says “fishing” too, so I brought a rod and some hot dogs in anticipation to have a go. It turns out it’s actually Silverbrook U-Catch!

We had a lovely picnic, caught a couple trout, and baked them for dinner! It was really fun and we really enjoyed the fish. I didn’t like hearing them whack the fish on the head, but I liked petting them when they were in the bucket. They were slippery and soft.

My friend Derek, who lives near the camp where I left my charger, comes into school in the city nearly every day. So I asked him if he could bring my charger to school and I could pick it up at the office. What a life saver!

I had to send my dad because I’m working 9 – 5 and the office closes at 3… but I am back online with my precious MacBook. Who thought this little thing could cause so much trouble?
