You may recall that I’m currently participating in the Thrift Shop Thrift Swap, in which I got to prowl around my favourite Thrift Store — Value Village — in search of goodies for my partner (it’s not a secret swap). I asked her what kind of hobbies she had, what patterns she liked, things that she usually looked for in a thrift store, and (of course) the types of books she read. So I had to go searching through the newly-organized book section at my local Value Village.

And then… I found this!

The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs has been on my TBR list for a very long time. Regularly priced: $28.99 CAD … I paid: $4.99 for it hardcover with only the tiniest tear in the dust jacket.
