I am safely here in Mexico. The first two nights we spent in Todos Santos on the Baja Peninsula. We had a lovely lunch at the Hotel California in Todos Santos. The Eagles (who sing “Hotel California”) were talking about a fictional location… but it certainly is “such a lovely place.”

Today my sister arrived and we drove down to Cabo to meet her. Cabo is on the Sea of Cortez and tomorrow we’ll either take the boat or the pirate ship to Lover’s Beach and play in the sea.

The house in Todos Santos is absolutely giant! I can’t wait to get home and show pictures on the blog properly!! It’s on an acre of land with a big backyard, 4 bedrooms, and a lovely, high thatched roof. We’re staying in a quaint little Bungalow B&B here in Cabo for a couple nights. It’s adorable and they have free wireless! But I can’t stay long as it’s my dad’s birthday today and we’re going out to a lovely dinner (treated by his old friend who’s down in Mexico too!
