Sights and Sounds of Vancouver
April 11th, 2008 by monnibo
Idling cars, bus screeching to a halt, English, Chinese, Japanese, Punjabi… train in MetroTown Mall? These are the sounds of Vancouver that have greeted me this past week. It’s nice to come home to such a multi-cultural and accepting community. It feels like in Vancouver you could be blue and walk on your hands all day and people wouldn’t mind… some may push past you, or honk at you, but most people would probably smile and maybe even applaud. I have missed this city… I’ve certainly missed my mountains!

They aren’t the best photos as it was cloudy today and they were while I was stopped in traffic. But to be honest, it’s very honest! It’s the sights I see daily while driving (as long as you’re facing North), and I’ve missed seeing them. They’re also helpful to get your bearings! haha.
