I read this about 2 years ago and I loved it. I don't know if I will like the movie though. I think this would be way too tough to pull off on the big screen--good director and actors or not. And I really don't like when a movie can almost destroy my images of the book. I guess I'll have to keep checking back with you--when you see it, post whether it's good or not and I'll decide. :)

I am the one person in the world who didn't like this book. Of course, I read it while in the midst of one of the most disappointing, frustrating emergency room visits EVER with my 96 year old grandmother, so my anger at the staff and their borderline neglect might have influenced my opinion!
