Okay, no it hasn’t snowed in London yet. But the frost was so thick yesterday that it looked like it snowed just a little. Does that count? Not really. But we wrote messages on people’s garden walls as we walked to town. I wrote “Happy Holidays” and Craig wrote I <3 U.
Okay okay I digress. The real reason I titled this Let it Snow is because I decorated my banner with snowflakes (like Cass)!! I also changed the colour of my shirt, added in some knitting, and put my pretty apple on my macbook. Wow the things you can do in Adobe Illustrator!

A bunch of avatars on Ravelry are snowflaked thanks to the BobBoosters, but I did my own. Yea Adobe Photoshop! If you want your own snowflake brushes for Photoshop, I got them at Osidian Dawn. Enjoy!

We are on a modem from 3 here in London. It has a 3GB/month download limit. On Craig’s PC, it tells him how much he’s downloaded. On my Mac, it doesn’t. We went over the limit (it refreshes on the 20th or something)… and I believe it’s my fault because Craig’s PC says he used just over 1000MB = 1GB. That means I must have used nearly 2GB as Richard and Sarah aren’t on the modem a lot.
We’ve ordered the next sized modem up – 7GB – because although Craig pays 15/month for the 3GB one, it’s actually Sarah’s modem. Craig and I will be splitting the 25/month for the 7GB and when we move back to Manchester, Craig will let his dad and girlfriend use it too.
So here’s the warning: I’m currently wireless-hopping and don’t know how regularly I will be on. I seem to be able to get on during the day but most of the wireless networks are passworded. Wish me luck.
