Gifties Galore
December 12th, 2007 by monnibo
My sister sent my Christmas present and told me to open it straight away. For the past year she has been living in Germany and travelling around Europe. She got me gifties from Sweden and Germany and sent them before she went home December 4th. Look at the goodies!

I love the colours.
My sister wrote: “The wool I bought in Malmø, Sweden. It’s made from sheep on Öland, one of Sweden’s islands. The dye is all-natural vegetable dye: vegan friendly!”

Anyone speak Swedish?

I don’t think mine is listed… Green with tinges of purple.

Can you guess who will be eating these? *cough*BF*cough* Maybe he’ll share with me. Hahha!
“The other item is a Räuchermännchen (pron: roy-ker-men-ken), which is a traditional Christmas decoration in a part of Easter Germany called The Erzgebirge (pron: ayerz-guh-beer-guh), a small mountain range… Räuchermännchen means literally, ‘little smoking men’.”

He rides a SNAIL! How cool is he?
“The horn logo on his saddle bag is the Deutsche Post logo.”

“If you twist the snail’s shell, it will come off the bottom, and on the little stand inside you put an incense cone (I send some of those as well).”
